Facing the consequences of your actions head on is quite brave...In fact, it's one of the bravest things any human being could do.
But there are those who cannot withstand the pressure of it.
Either...
Their hearts are strong enough...
Their hearts break apart...
Or...
Their hearts turn to stone...
Have pity on those whose hearts petrify...It's a terrible defense mechanism: sort of like a nature of apathy. Choosing to tell yourself that you don't care in order to lock away your emotions, so you don't get hurt at all...
It's cowardly.
But many of those who are like this are those who lack support from friends, family, or anyone close to them.
They are in dire need of love.
...I wish to help them...
You could call this "emo", you could call this stupid. Go ahead, if you lack compassion.
