They're different...

Yes, they really are different...What am I talking about? Well, lemme fill you in first. Imagine a boy and a girl--yes they're a couple--and they come from two different families. Different in a sense of faith. Yes, the boy is a catholic and the girl is a protestant. It's a common predicament, isn't it? It's not just between Catholics and Protestants. Maybe it could be between Muslims, Buddhists, Seventh-day adventists, Atheists, and all those other religions out there...Ultimately, more or less the last thing that could separate a couple of this kind is their religion.

It's very difficult for a devout Catholic and Protestant to be together if their beliefs will clash. Yes, there's love, but probably the key to a healthy relationship is growing together in all aspects. Yes, Religion for me is a major aspect because, well, this is for the family. Your religion will more or less determine the ideals that you live by, the traditions that you will follow, and everything else in between. If you're an Atheist then will you not tell your children that God doesn't exist? If you're a Buddhist will you not teach your children the way of Buddha? If your religion with your spouse clashes I have no idea what will become of the children...What will they believe? They'll grow up confused and everything...

This of course only applies to those who take religion seriously. I personally believe religion doesn't matter, what matters is your relationship with God, right? Well my personal beliefs aside, I've heard many similar stories...Some ended in tragedy, some ended simply, others ended happily. Like I said, more or less this is something that'll affect your relationship right? Especially regarding your parents...

But I'm really no expert. Everything I just said is based on pure..."Educated guess" or speculation or whatever you can call it...Though for me, this is important. VERY important. Not just because it regards my parents, but because I myself take spiritual walk seriously, even though I am FAR from perfect, FAR from spiritual maturity and FAR from being an ideal Christian...But I guess...It's "inborn" now. If you get my drift. :D
