Emma, a victorian romance
Ahh, one of my most favourite romance novels ever. It's a very, very interesting story, and it has moved me to tears from time to time. I guess only the "mature" ones can fully appreciate the story... I'm not saying I'm mature, what I mean to say is that I'm not a little kid anymore. To be honest fantasy and magic is getting old these days, and I want something new. This story definitely kept me interested all the way. I felt the sorrow and joy of the characters, and I marveled at the elegance and beauty of old English fashion. It was beautiful, and the society status was intimidating, not to mention frustrating. It has got to be the best "mature" (I dont mean THAT mature, in case that's what you're thinking) romance novel I've ever read.
For the first time, I wasn't disappointed when I finished the story. It was satisfying, and whether it continued or not didn't matter. I loved the story, and it was beautiful... Nice job, Ms. Kaoru Mori! =D
