Growing out of anime

Hm...A while ago I was reflecting a bit, and it seems that I've changed a lot... Before I used to believe anime was a part of me... A world I'd escape to whenever I felt bored. I used to think it was the only world where I could be accepted... Man that was so friggin corny. I can't believe I thought like that. Now, anime is just a hobby--like a side dish. That doesn't mean I don't like it anymore... I still like it, but now it's only a hobby for me. It's nothing major anymore... Just a thing in my head.

Sigh... Well, even anime has its disadvantages. I guess that's one of the reasons why I'm starting to grow out of it. Sometimes it can influence someone wrongly, and that aint good. I'm worried about all the little children who get to watch anime at an early age... Their immature minds may not always be able to distinguish right from wrong (worse yet-- real from fake). It's be awful if the kid sees something we call "hentai" anime at an early age... That'd be disastrous. Well not just those kinds of anime, but also yuuri and yaoi... Why must there be anime like that, anyway? Well anyhow, even anime with a lubby-dubby story aint healthy for a kid even if it aint hentai yuuri or yaoi... Sigh...

Well enough of that. I guess when I grow up and have a kid (IF I have a kid), I'll try not to introduce him/her to anime... I dont want her/him to experience the stuff I went through... Although I still like anime.
