Wrong Ticket store

Hm...We had a good message last Friday during the weekly Bible study. the speaker started off pretty good... She said, "what if you went to a ticket store and bought the wrong ticket? What if you thought you had the right ticket but had the wrong one all along?" She's right... In the end if I had the wrong ticket, then...Well of course it'll be a one-way trip to a place filled with fire and pain. There are no refunds, either. Uh oh... Well, what she said really hit my head. Did I have the right ticket? It was a powerful question... This time around, I am definitely sure that I have the right ticket. But what about my friends? Do they have the right ticket? ...No... Most of them dont. How can I tell, you might ask... Well, of course the best way to tell if the person is a Christian is their life. God is light, and if we say we share life with God, we have to live in the light. If you still live in the darkness, then...Looks like you have to get a refund. You cant call yourself a Christian if your heart is filled with darkness... Well anyway, I'd like to say...Just coz you do good doesnt mean you're a Christian. If you have Jesus in your heart, then that makes you a Christian. Salvation is the only way to heaven...Not good works. However, following God is always important... But dont let doing good stop you from doing what's right...

notes:
  • I wrote this blog because I felt I wanted to remind my pals about it. I want them to be sure that they have the right ticket...
  • To my pals: I hope you guys get what I mean...
  • God bless. Nothing else to note.
